Our Story

From sketching dreams in school notebooks to designing sustainable structures, the founder of Krü Architecture has always had an eye for innovation. His journey began as a draughtsman in Lady Smith, where he contributed to the construction of the Nelson Mandela Hospital – a project that ignited his passion for creating spaces that serve communities.

Life, however, had other plans. A car accident led to a period of rehabilitation, during which our founder found himself in Scotland. It was here, amidst the historic architecture, that he felt a divine calling to pursue architecture professionally.

Returning to South Africa with renewed purpose, he earned his diploma and gained invaluable experience working alongside seasoned architects. This path eventually led to the birth of Krü Architecture – a practice built on the foundation of passion and perseverance.

At Krü Architecture, we’re not just designing buildings; we’re crafting experiences. Our unique approach combines alternative building methods with a commitment to sustainability. We pride ourselves on delivering a highly personalised service, ensuring our clients are involved and informed at every step.

From SPLUMA applications to bespoke designs, we’re here to turn your architectural dreams into reality. Let’s build a sustainable future, one structure at a time.
